Formulation Process of the Global Youth Declaration
Children and Youth Major Group (CYMG), through its Policy Coordination Group (PCG), organized a series of consultations virtually over December 2023 and January 2024 to facilitate the process of collecting inputs from the constituents and preparing the drafts of the Global Youth Declaration. The revised draft was then presented at the Final Consultation during the Global Youth Environment Assembly on 17th February 2024, in-person at UNON, Nairobi, Kenya, and online (Zoom), to consult with the constituency members and launch the final version of the declaration before UNEA6.
