Global Youth Environment Assembly (Global YEA) is a crucial platform that gathers young environmental enthusiasts and policy advocates from around the world to participate in policy discussions, knowledge-sharing, and the formulation of the Global Youth Declaration on Environment to be presented at the Sixth Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA6). The 2024 edition of the Global YEA took place in Nairobi, Kenya, strategically scheduled in the lead-up to OECPR6 & UNEA6. The theme for UNEA6 was "Effective, Inclusive, and Sustainable Multilateral Actions to Tackle Climate Change, Biodiversity Loss, and Pollution." Global YEA was geared towards aligning youth perspectives and priorities with this crucial theme.

We are thrilled to announce that the Global Youth Environment Assembly 2024 will be hosted at the prestigious United Nations Office in Nairobi (UNON). Located in the Gigiri Area of Kenya's capital, this only Global South UN HQ serves as a hub for international diplomacy and collaboration.

Our event will utilize state-of-the-art facilities within UNON, ensuring a seamless and productive experience for all participants. From spacious conference rooms equipped with cutting-edge technology to exhibition areas, the venue is tailored to accommodate the diverse needs of the GYEA 2024.
